I bought this a couple of weeks ago. The air filter works just as good as the more expensive ones. Worth the buy. Bought one to test it out and now I'm buying 4 more. Works better in smaller rooms of course. I wouldn't use this for larger rooms; you'll need to get a much larger air filter for the bigger rooms in your home. For me these are perfect fit for the small areas.

The 04211 I can hear over the microwave. This one (04269) I can't. It's still not as quiet as the Febreze model Odor Eliminator, but the 04269 does a champion job of reducing odor. If you buy from DollarRite with Amazon fulfillment, you'll get the pet filter included, which is thicker than the basic carbon filter. Also, the sheer circumference of the ventilated portion of the 04269 is bigger than the Febreze model (keep in mind, however, the unit itself is also a little bigger, if space is at a premium).

I still prefer the Febreze model Odor Eliminator for its quiet fan, but this model runs a close second.

I recently purchased this plug-in odor eliminator because I was tired of spending endless amounts of money on candles and odor-eliminating sprays. I have two dogs, and before I purchased this item, as soon as you opened the door to my house, you could smell the dogs. This product took that pet-odor smell out of the air in my living room and I am 100% satisfied. I am also happy that I no longer need to waste money on products to cover up that pet smell. I would reccomend this product to anyone with pets.

This unit is great for small areas like closets, utility rooms, small bathrooms, etc. As another reviewer mentioned, a larger unit is needed for medium to large sized rooms. I most recently used the unit in a hallway, just outside of the room where the cat's litter box is located, to keep any odor from drifting to the rest of the house, and it worked very well. The filters always seemed to last longer than I expected them to, so I really feel that I get my money's worth.

Unit is small and quiet. Since I only use it to keep the air moving in a closed closet, and perhaps add a bit of warmth, it is adequate for that purpose.

Great value with speedy delivery, but unfortunately the product was defective and did not work when plugged in. I was highly satisified with Amazon's refund process, although I would have preferred to take a chance on a replacement rather than a refund.
